DJ Merci puts forward this sample pack as a look into what makes his music so warm and rough. That in part is owed to his use and love of one of the most iconic drum machines of our generation, the legendary MPC 3000.

Over the past few years, Merci has accumulated a personal stash of drum samples, based mostly from digging deep into his vinyl library, while chopping and mangling sounds and textures.

We are very excited to share with you some of the sounds from his stash, handpicked and processed by Merci himself through his Legacy 3000. Also adding to his Library of vinyl one-shots, Merci was kind enough to sample some of the vintage synths he has laying around his studio space, to give that extra edge in not only rhythm-based samples but also his chosen melodic go tos.
