Future Pocket is a collection of over 200 drum and percussion loops and oneshots recorded by Los Angeles-based drummer and producer Efajemue. Known for his stylistic versatility and expressive creativity, Efajemues sound draws from jazz, hip hop and electronic music to bring you a combination of singular grooves that push the envelope in multiple directions at once.?

These beats, both soulful and innovative, draw inspiration from visionaries such as Knxwledge, Flying Lotus, Kaytranada and Questlove. As a producer, Efajemues own 2022 album Aesthetics was nominated for a JUNO Award, and hes toured with some of the most forward-thinking, deeply musical artists of today including Moonchild, Kiefer, and Vidya Vox.?

This pack features Istanbul Agop cymbals, Yamaha Drums, custom instruments by Stack Ring Percussion, and a variety of percussion instruments from Efajemues personal collection. Drums were recorded alongside percussion to build a variety of unique and layered groove possibilities, engineered by Efajemue himself in Los Angeles, CA.

The collection is rounded out with some additional production and instrumental recordings by nu.wavs own Bryn Bliska and; Simen Sez, matching Efajemues rhythmic experimentation with distinctive harmonic progressions and eclectic sonic textures from a variety of analog and digital instruments and processors.
