Japanese architect and ambient composer Hiroki Takahashi drew from fragments of memories in the creation of this sample collection for Rubicon, crafting a pool of sounds that invoke past sensations, smells and environments that come to mind for brief moments in our daily lives. ?The impression I got after repeatedly listening to these memory fragments,? says Takahashi, ?was that of tea.?
