Vivid Beats & Occult Electronics is a collection of warm, psychedelic, moody and dark sounds that give the listener feelings of nostalgia and thoughts of dreary memories. Drawing on inspiration ranging from Oneohtrix Point Never, Travis Scott and many video game OSTs, Jabbu sought to create a pack bursting with imagination
This pack is completely composed of outboard gear including vintage Yamaha and Casio keyboards, a Fender Telecaster, 6 and 12 string guitars, Korg Minilogue, Moog Mother 32, various small melodic and percussive hand instruments. To maintain an analog feel, a multitude of effects pedals were used to give the sounds some additional liveliness, and then every piece of audio was run through a tape deck to give that final layer of warmth.
From unique foley driven one shots, and abstract rhythmic drum patterns to warped and atmospheric melodies, Vivid Beats & Occult Electronics is here to help get the creative juices flowing when starting a new track or finalising a song.
