The 1985 Passionate piano has the beautiful, warm, and wide sound of a mature grand. It contains deep-sampled Sustains, Una Corda (felt piano), Staccatissimo, and Staccato samples. We recorded its staccatos with many round-robin velocity layers, offering you the ability to play incredibly fast licks with clear definition on the attack of the sound.

The 1985 Passionate Piano was recorded through analog equipment and 6 independent microphone positions. The process allowed us to encapsulate the deeper spirit of the instrument, creating something that plays ultra-realistically. It is a beautiful add-on for the Prophet X and XL expansions, designed for the compositional mind and happy fingers.
