These samples were recorded at the legendary United Recording, Studio A, featuring their iconic 72 input Focusrite Console. The centerpiece of the control room is a custom-built Neve 68 input 8068/8088 console and a 10 input Neve BCM 10 with original 1073 mic-pre EQs to bring the full studio experience. The pack was designed using legendary synthesizers and electric pianos, a grand piano, Pearl Reference Pure drums, with a Hybrid Exotic Snare and Zildjian K Custom Special Dry cymbals that the Ox helped design himself. All loops and one shots were processed and mixed by J3PO.

J3PO and The Ox are both part of The Lesson GK, a dynamic group of talented musicians based in NYC and LA who fuse elements of funk, jazz, soul and hip hop to create progressive yet approachable music. Much of their sound was developed at their famed weekly jam session, ?The Lesson,? at Arlenes Grocery on the Lower East Side of New York City.

Julian J3PO Pollack is an award-winning keyboardist, producer, and audio engineer, known for his unique sound design and approach to the keyboard. Described by Timeout New York as a musician who ?deftly balances virtuosity with tenderness,? Julian has toured extensively with the legendary Marcus Miller, and has recorded/performed with the likes of Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Kamasi Washington, and many others. He has produced award-winning tracks for numerous artists around the globe, and most recently composed the music for the feature film The Sound Of The Wind. His latest album Small Plates has garnered much critical success, and the single ?The Crab? has received millions of streams worldwide.
