SCULPTOR Epic Drops is the fourth module in Gothic Instruments high quality series of FX tools, following on from the particularly perfect companion library ? Epic Risers, and other previous releases ? Live Impacts and Massive Whooshes.
Unlike many sample packs that simply offer numerous similar-sounding falls, SCULPTOR Epic Drops allows you to dive deeper and easily blend and shape the sound to exactly suit your project. Each drop is made up of a blend of two sounds, which helps to add spectral complexity and variety to the sounds.
With the GUI controls you can choose the exact length in bars, plus a whole set of other useful tools to sculpt sounds to provoke that desired emotional response from your listeners ? whether it be a rush of excitement and adrenaline in a dance track or anticipation and suspense in a movie soundtrack.
The thousands of raw samples included in SCULPTOR Epic Drops were created by Hollywood movie trailer sound designer Alessandro Camnasio, whose credits include Transformers: Age of Extinction, Captain America - The First Avenger, THOR and many more. The raw sounds range from synthetic to real sources, often heavily processed to make them more powerful. You?ll find gritty, smooth and bold synth sounds, cutting edge and futuristic textures and much more.
SCULPTOR Epic Drops features 79 nki presets including a selection designed especially by a number of ?guest composers and sound designers.
The presets are grouped into the following folders:
Clean for pure, rich, big sounds Hyped are wider and brighter Dark are more low and dangerous Vast are more big, cavernous and wideMod Gate gives you Mod Wheel control over the GATERMod Crunch get more distorted as the Mod Wheel goes up Velocity Control allows MIDI velocity (how hard you hit the key) to control the intensity of the rise by varying the filter and volume.

Cinematic Soundtracks/Trailers: Drops (aka downers) are hugely effective for the big screen, often put at the end of a section or even as part of a rhythmic build up. The sounds in SCULPTOR Epic Drops have been purposefully created to have a cinematic quality and therefore are incredibly effective for underlining certain moments, like slow motion, epic jumps and other dramatic actions.
Electronic Music: Builds and drops are essential in dance music and both need to be equally powerful to have the desired effect on your listeners ? an incredible adrenaline inducing-build-up followed by a limp drop will not satisfy your audience, Epic Drops will ensure your drops are creative and energising!

SCULPTOR Epic Drops features 2 interface pages ? the main GUI and the Master FX page?
The main GUI page allows you to mix and match two sounds, change their volumes, randomize the sounds, change the length of the rise, the pitch, EQ, the envelope shapes, filters and send effects (delay and reverb).
Meanwhile the falling lights give you a visual guide to whats happening. Attack time: fades in the drop sound gradually at a maximum setting.
Sound Menus: Mix and match different sounds into the two different slots/windows and control the balance between the two sounds for a purer, identifiable sound or a more complex, mixed, noisy sound which will blend well in a mix.
Use the Decay Shape knob to control the shape of the drop envelope. Set full for a fast fade where the volume drops quickly then fades out more gradually during the tail. Set to zero for a slow slope where the volume stays louder to the end for a more big, bold drop sound.
Control the depth/amount of pitch change during the drop with the Depth Control knob. The Fall Time buttons control the time (in bars) of your drop from the time a key is triggered to the end point of the drop and is synced to your sequencer tempo. Click the Random magic dice button for an endless set of fantastic new sounds to play with. Super-size your sound! The Super Button creates an instant thick width effect adding depth and power to your drop.

This page presents global effects which will affect every sound currently loaded across the whole keyboard. Includes three insert effects (Drive, Compression and Filter) , two send effects (Reverb and Delay) and the Gater ? a rhythmical noise gate where you can control the Rate, Depth, Pan and Width of the sound. The Master FX page also features a FILTER with three modes: band-pass, high-pass, low-pass and vowel filter for wowowow effects.
